The Christmas Chess Set

Proudly imported from Europe, The Christmas wood chess set has been handcrafted and hand-finished out of the finest natural and stained hornbeam wood. It’s design is wholly original, with a elongated, slender appearance and exaggerated, stylized pedestal bases. It' draws its inspiration from the traditional Staunton pattern chess set, allowing for immediate recognition and use. In keeping true with it’s European heritage, the King and Queen pieces of the Christmas wood chess set features crowns that are made of  the opposing wood type, providing a beautiful color contrast.

The complimentary chess board has been designed to provide the perfect amount of contrast for the hornbeam natural and stained chess pieces, and has a rich lacquered finish. The perimeter of the chess board features the traditional rank and file labels, and it can be folded in half for easy storage. Inside the chess board are individual fitted compartments for storing each of the chess pieces when not in use, providing the highest level of protection.
